We are recruiting for our client in the finance sector for a senior leadership role: Head of Advisory. This position is ideal for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the Nigerian financial market and a proven track record in advisory services, investment banking, or corporate finance.
Position Summary:
The Head of Advisory will oversee multiple advisory units, including Financial Advisory, ESG Advisory, and Shariah Advisory. This role involves strategic leadership, driving growth, and delivering top-tier advisory services to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance growth and profitability in line with Nigerian market dynamics.
- Manage client relationships and ensure high-quality advisory services.
- Provide team leadership, fostering an environment for success.
- Identify new business opportunities within the Nigerian economy.
- Oversee financial analysis and advisory services.
- Implement risk management practices.
- Collaborate across departments for seamless service delivery.
- Monitor performance metrics and provide regular reporting.
Requirements:
- BSc in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; MSc/MBA preferred.
- 6+ years of experience in financial services, focusing on advisory or corporate finance in the Nigerian market.
- Experience in Shariah or Non-Interest Finance is an advantage.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of Nigerian financial market regulations and dynamics.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation, and risk assessment.
- Professional certifications (CFA, ACA, ACCA) are advantageous.
