Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will oversee financial operations, ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance, and deliver strategic financial insights to drive growth in our agribusiness.
Location: Lagos State
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting:
Prepare and review financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow).
Maintain accurate and timely accounting records.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Financial Analysis:
Analyze financial performance and provide insights.
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
Identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement.
Accounts Payable/Receivable:
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
Ensure timely payment and collection.
Maintain accurate vendor and customer records.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts.
Monitor and analyze variances.
Taxation and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Prepare and file tax returns.
Audit and Financial Reporting:
Coordinate with external auditors.
Prepare financial reports for management and stakeholders.
Other Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
Provide financial training to staff.
Participate in special projects.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
Professional certifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA, CMA).
5+ years of accounting experience.
Knowledge of agribusiness operations.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
