TECHNICAL ASSISTANT (LAGOS)

The Technical Assistant to the MD plays a pivotal role in providing administrative and
technical support to the Managing Director of the Bank. This position is responsible for
managing the MD’s office, handling sensitive and confidential information, coordinating with
various stakeholders, and ensuring smooth communication between the MD and
internal/external parties.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and maintain the Managing Director’s calendar, scheduling meetings,
appointments, and events.
• Prepare and organize documents, reports, and presentations for the MD’s review
and use.
• Act as a liaison between the MD and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring
effective communication and follow-up on action items.
• Coordinate and facilitate internal and external meetings, including agenda
preparation and minute-taking when necessary.
• Conduct research and gather data to support the MD’s decision-making processes.
• Handle confidential and sensitive information with utmost discretion and
professionalism.
• Organize travel arrangements, accommodation, and itinerary planning for the MD
and other members of the executive team, when required.
• Assist in the preparation and coordination of board meetings, annual general
meetings, and other high-level events.
• Support the MD in prioritizing tasks and managing workflow, ensuring deadlines are
met.
• Collaborate with other executive assistants and administrative staff to ensure
seamless coordination across the organization.
• Other duties as assigned by the MD or required of the office

QUALIFICATIONS:

A minimum of 10 years of experience in an executive support role, preferably in a
banking or financial services environment
PREFERRED/ MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is
required
• An MBA or MSc would be preferred.
PREFERRED/ MINIMUM PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• A related professional certification is an added advantage.
• Demonstrated experience in managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and
handling sensitive information.
• Proficiency in using office software (e.g., MS Office suite) and other relevant
tools for document preparation and organization.
