BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

Role: Business Development Officer
Reports to: Managing Director
We seek a Business Development Officer who will identify opportunities for business growth and
create marketing strategies based on those opportunities in order to meet and exceed revenue
goals.
• Analyzing current and past financial data and providing strategies increase revenue and cut
costs.
• Research market plans, identify new opportunities and work with executives to implement
marketing strategies.
• Leading the charge on market research plans to identify new opportunities.
• Working with executives to implement marketing strategies and new opportunities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and partners.

• Encouraging new and existing clients by creating and improving proposals.
• Tracking expenses and maintaining budget and ensure that revenue targets are met.
• Ensuring that the company meets revenue targets.
• Providing training and mentoring to other members of the team.
• Develop, write, pitch and execute funding proposals for existing and to attract potential
investors.
• Training and mentoring team.

1. Strong business knowledge and experience to manage budget, review financial statements
and interpret financial data.

Requirements:
• At least 3 years of experience in business development, sales, finance or a related field
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales target
